Car Seat Cushion Setup Tips for Long Drives

A car seat cushion can make a long drive feel easier, but it changes how you sit. A few quick adjustments help you stay comfortable and in control.
Re-adjust your seat height
A cushion adds a few inches, so you will sit slightly taller. Lower the seat or adjust it so you still have a clear view of the road and comfortable headroom.
Check pedals and steering
Make sure you can reach the pedals easily and that your knees stay slightly bent. Reset the steering wheel if needed.
Keep it flat and centered
Place the cushion with the cutout toward the back of the seat, and use the non-slip base to hold it steady. Make sure it does not block the seat belt buckle.
Take regular breaks
Even the best cushion does not replace rest. On long trips, stop to stand up and stretch every couple of hours.
